Dhindhora Baje Re” – the next song from Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani is set to drop on Monday. The lead stars Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh along with the director Karan Johar will be traveling to Kolkata tomorrow to release the song, which has Durga Puja as the backdrop. KJo, on Sunday, shared a teaser of the music video, which gives a glimpse of the grand set and hundreds of dancers energetically matching Ranveer-Alia’s steps in the song.
The song teaser shows Alia and Ranveer dressed in traditional red and gold outfits, dancing in a celebratory mood. A huge idol of Maa Durga is placed in the pandal as many others join them in the festivity. Karan, while sharing the video wrote, “Love only gets louder! Prepare your hearts to dance to the beats of #DhindhoraBajeRe – SONG OUT TOMORROW!.”
Fans were also quick to point out how the grandeur and the music sounded straight out of a Sanjay Leela Bhansali song. Given both Ranveer and Alia have been part of SLB’s grand acts, netizens couldn’t help but compare. Some of the comments on the teaser shared by Karan Johar read, “Looks like u somewhat copied dhol baaje from Sanjay leela bhansali Ramleela and dola re devdas. U seem to be inspired by the film set too.
