Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi starrer ‘Oh My God 2′ is going to hit the theaters soon. The film is a sequel to Oh My God, which was released in 2012. In which Akshay Kumar is playing the role of Lord Shiva for the first time. This character is a big and exciting experience in his career. Meanwhile, the fans’ wait is over. Actually, the trailer of OMG-2 has been released today.
Pankaj Tripathi himself will fight his case
Akshay Kumar, who earlier helped Paresh Rawal by playing Kanha in ‘Oh My God’, will now be seen as Lord Shiva’s messenger to rescue Pankaj Tripathi from misery in its sequel. The trailer opens with a figure of Shiva telling his most beloved vehicle Nandi that a great calamity is about to befall his devotee. Therefore one should take one of the Shiva ganas who can help him.
After this the story starts in the court, where Pankaj Tripathi himself is seen fighting his case. He has a simple family but an incident with his son at school changes his life. Indeed, Pankaj Tripathi’s son commits suicide fearing disgrace. After which he has to fight the case as a lawyer to prove his son right.
This is the reason why the release date of the trailer has been postponed
Let us tell you that the trailer of the film was supposed to be released on August 1 itself, but due to the death of art director Nitin Desai, the release date of the trailer of the film was postponed. At the same time, the film is facing huge protests across the country, but by watching the trailer, it can be understood that Akshay Kumar is not playing the role of Lord Shiva himself but one of his devotees in the film. Not only this, the film was sent to the revising committee of the Censor Board. In fact, after reviewing the film, which was slated to release on August 11, the makers were suggested to make several major changes. Also, about 20 scenes were asked to be cut from the film. After which it has been given ‘A’ certificate.
Yami Gautam will also be seen
In fact, the film is a sequel to the 2012 hit ‘OMG – Oh My God’. In which the pair of Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal created a buzz.
