Sanju Samson once again misses the opportunity to hit fours. In the second T20 against West Indies, Sanju had a chance to strengthen his claim for the Asia Cup. But, Sanju could not capitalize on this opportunity and was dismissed for 7 runs in the process of scoring quick runs. Samson is counted among India’s most talented batsmen of the current era. But his performance lacks consistency. At first he doesn’t get opportunities and when the team management gives Sanju a chance, he squanders it, showing constant confidence. In such a situation, it will be difficult for him to make a place in the Asia Cup team, let alone the World Cup.
