Digvijay Singh wrote a letter to Sehore collector

Digvijay Singh will reach Nasrullaganj on August 23, after reaching the SDM office. He will hold talks with the officials of Forest Department, Revenue Department and Tribal Welfare Department.

Information sought regarding not giving land pattas to tribals

Digvijay Singh has written to the Sihore District Collector seeking information about non-allocation of land leases to the tribals of Budh’s assembly constituency. He has asked why thousands of tribals living in the Budhni area. Have not yet been give pattas under the Forest Rights Act.

On August 23, Digvijay Singh will visit Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s Baroda Nasrullaganj. Meet the officials regarding land grants to tribals. He wrote in the letter that he wants to know why the cases of hundred of people are still pending.

Last month he also wrote a letter to Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan in this regard and he will also seek his reply on August 23 as to what action has bee taken by the government and administration on this letter. He will reach the SDM office at Nasrullaganj and discuss the matter with the officials of Forest Department, Revenue Department and Tribal Welfare Department.

Letter sent by me to Hon’ble Chief Minister, Government of Madhya Pradesh no. 1429, dated 07.08.2023 is enclose with the original letter. A letter was sent to tribal families of villages under Bhairunda (Nasrullaganj) block of Budni Assembly Constituency of Sihore District regarding non-issue of Forest Rights Letters under the Forest Rights Act, 2006 to several forest dwellers.

Another letter date 24.07.2023 was also write to the landless people of many villages in Badni Assembly Constituency. Who have not yet bee given possession of the leases grante by the Government. I also want to know about the number of villages which have not bee handed over to tenant farmers.

From the date of implementation of the Forest Rights Act till date how many tribal familie were given forest right letter under the Forest Rights Act 2006. How many families had their lease applications canceled and how many families’ cases are still pending. For which reason consideration.. I request you that I want to reach Bhairunda (Nasrullaganj) on 23.08.2023. Reach the office of your Sub-Divisional Officer (Revenue) at Bhairunda to seek information in this regard. Try to hold a meeting after informing the concerned officials including the forest officer. Please inform village wise about the updated status of pending claims.
