Shivraj cabinet expanded, 3 ministers made, what is BJP’s plan to win 70 out of 94 seats?

Shivraj cabinet: The cabinet expansion of the BJP government in Madhya Pradesh finally took place on Saturday. Shivraj’s cabinet reshuffle, which came about 45 days before the model code of conduct for assembly elections, has sought to improve regional balance and caste equation. The BJP has made a strategy to capture more than 70 of the total 94 seats by fielding three ministers from Vindhya, Mahakaushal and Bundelkhand regions. At present BJP has only 54 seats. Congress did well in the last elections and won 39 seats.

Out of total 35 ministers, one post has been kept vacant. If we understand the new expansion equation, Rajendra Shukla from Vindhya, Gauri Shankar Bisen from Mahakaushal and Rahul Singh Lodhi from Bundelkhand have been made ministers. The party has given a target of winning more than 70 out of 94 seats in the three zones. In which an exercise to help the general and OBC classes has also been seen. Shukla belongs to the general category, while both Bisen and Lodhi have been made ministers from the OBC category.

Why was he made a minister?

Rahul Lodhi: The Lodhi community constitutes 9 percent of the voters in the state. Rahul is a young face. This society has influence in more than 40 seats. An attempt has also been made to remove the displeasure of former CM Uma Bharti.

Rajendra Shukla: Brahmin is the leader of the society. He is the big face of Vindhya. As there was no minister from Vindhya there was resentment among the workers. BJP won 24 out of 30 seats. Despite doing this, he was not made a minister. An exercise is underway to bring angry Brahmins to the party on the pretext of Shukla.

Gaurishankar Bisen: He is a 7 time MLA. The OBC class Panwar Samaj has a large vote bank. Bhau has a good hold in areas like Balaghat, Mandla and Dindori. Chhindwara, a stronghold of former CM Kamal Nath, also has social voters. This is the reason why old Bisen has been made a minister once again.
