On flights, the airline introduces a “Adult-Only” section. What It Means Is This?

In order to minimize interruption caused by children’s sounds on flights for passengers traveling alone. One airline offers a “adult-only” section on specific routes.

According to The Hill, Turkish-Dutch leisure airline Corendon Airlines wants to accommodate passengers who are 16 years of age or older who want to travel in an environment devoid of children. On the airline’s Airbus A350 aircraft, certain seats will booked as part of the plan, the site stated.

On November 1st, these zones will go into effect on flights between Amsterdam and Curacao, a Dutch Caribbean island.
The airline’s news statement translated to read. “This area on the aircraft is meant for travelers flying without children and for business travelers.” Who prefer to work in a calm atmosphere.

Nine extra-large seats with extra legroom and 93 ordinary seats will used to establish the “adult-only” zones at the front of the aircraft. According to the airline.


The cost of these seats is an additional 45 euros ($49 or 4,050), while the cost of the extra-large seats is an additional 100 euros ($108 or 8,926).
Although Corendon Airlines is most likely the first airline in the Netherlands. It is not the first airline to ever deploy such a novel feature on a plane.
