India Vs Nepal: India won the toss and decided to bowl first, rain overshadowed the match

India Vs Nepal: Indian team is the most successful team in Asia Cup. The team has been the champion of the Asia Cup seven times, including six ODI and one T20 tournament trophy.

The fifth match of the Asia Cup tournament is being playe between India and Nepal. Indian captain Rohit Sharma has won the toss and decide to bowl first in this match which is being play at the Pallakele International Cricket Stadium in Kandy. One change has been made in the Indian team. Mohammad Shami is playing in place of Jasprit Bumrah. Bumrah returned to Mumbai on Sunday for the birth of his first child. Along with this, Bhim Sharkey has been given a chance to replace Arif Sheikh in the Nepal team. India will have to register a win against Nepal to survive in the Asia Cup.

After losing the toss, the Nepalese team, who came to bat first, got 3 runs in the first 5 overs. The team’s openers Kushal Bhurtel and Asif Shaikh took advantage of these opportunities and put on a fifty partnership in the 9th over.

Bhurtel was dismisse for 38 in the 10th over and the opening partnership collapse. Both added 65 runs off 59 balls. After 10 overs, Nepal’s score was 65 runs for the loss of one wicket.

It is worth mentioning that India and Nepal will play an international cricket match for the first time. It’s a do-or-die match for both the teams as the winner will enter the Super Four. However, it will be extremely difficult for Nepal to beat India.
