Madhya pradesh election 2023: Chief Election Commissioner Rajeev Kumar held a press conference in Bhopal. Final publication of electoral roll on October 4 – Madhya pradesh election 2023

The Chief Election Commissioner said that the work of revising the voter list is currently going on in the state. The final publication of the voter list will be on October 4. Any voter’s name will be removed from the electoral roll only when Form 07 is received. He also said that there will be no self-identified extinction without field verification by the BLO. Even in case of death, voter’s name will not bee deleted without death certificate. There is still time for anyone who has a complaint to add their name to the voter list and if they have any complaint they will also bee heard.

A total of 5.52 crore voters in the state, will be able to vote from home for the first time

  • The total number of voters in Madhya Pradesh is 5 crore 52 lakh.
  • The number of male and female voters is almost equal.
  • The number of women voters is slightly less, at 2.67 crore.
  • The number of transgender voters in the state is 1336.
  • 7.12 lakh voters are 80 years or above.
  • There are 6,180 voters who are above 100 years of age.
  • Special arrangements for senior citizens to vote from home.
  • 18.86 lakh voters in the age group of 18 to 19 years will exercise their franchise for the first time.
