Shah is expected to arrive at 11:30 a.m. and leave for New Delhi at 3:30 p.m. The BJP is also planning public meetings in Hyderabad and with ST communities in preparation for the elections. Ram Gopal Yadav of the Samajwadi Party predicts a significant defeat for the BJP in the upcoming assembly elections.
Gwalior tense as protesting Gurjars resort to violence
Violence erupted at the Gurjar Mahakumbh in Gwalior as angry youth demanded attention to their concerns. The protest, organized by the Gurjar Maha Panchayat, aimed to raise demands ahead of the assembly elections but tensions escalated when officials ignored the crowd. Youth blocked a road intersection and attacked a police vehicle before authorities intervened. The key demands included political representation, cultural preservation, religious restoration, historical protection, and justice for community members.
