MP Election 2023: BJP leaders often attack Digvijay Singh and raise questions on his Hindu faith in many ways. But this latest statement of Digvijay Singh has surprised even the BJP leaders. Digvijay Singh said that he has given one lakh 11 thousand rupees for the construction of Ram temple. Whereas Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has given less money than that.
MP Election 2023:Digvijay Singh was speaking after the statement of BJP leader Sudhanshu Trivedi, in which he had made serious allegations against Digvijay Singh. Digvijay Singh, in response to those allegations, said, “I am a person following Sanatan Dharma and a good Hindu. Ram is our Ishtadev, we follow Sanatan Dharma but using religion in elections is prohibited. Shivraj Singh Chauhan donated Rs 1 lakh for the construction of Ram temple and I donated Rs 1 lakh 11 thousand. I sent that check to Prime Minister Modi to deposit it. But they sent that check back to me so that you can go and deposit it yourself.”
Digvijay Singh wanted to convey through his statement that BJP leaders make false allegations against him. He believes in Sanatan Dharma with full faith and has also donated for the construction of Ram temple and that donation is more than that of Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan. By saying this he was trying to justify his claim of being a better Hindu.
BJP followed the path of the past few days, BJP has once again turned its election strategy towards Hindutva. All the spokespersons and big leaders of BJP have repeatedly started targeting Digvijay Singh, Kamal Nath on religious issues like Ram temple, real Hindus-fake Hindus, etc.
