Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi is one of those who like to keep his personal life away from the glare of the media. Recently, the actor talked about his son Ayan’s battle with cancer in an interview.
Imran’s son was a little less than 4 years old when he was diagnosed with first-stage cancer. Talking about this, the actor said that his whole world turned upside down in those 12 hours. After knowing this, he cried a lot in a room with his wife. Ayan was diagnosed with cancer in the year 2014, however, he has now won the battle against it.
Speaking on Ranveer Allahbadia’s podcast, Imran revealed that he found out that his son had cancer during a family dinner. Recalling that time, Imran said, “On January 13, we went for brunch at Taj Lands. My son showed his first symptom at the table. He asked my wife to come with him because he had seen blood in his urine. This was the first symptom, and from that moment, our happy brunch turned into a nightmare. Within three hours, we were at a doctor’s clinic. The doctor told us that our son had cancer. We had to get him operatedon the next day and then had to undergo chemotherapy. My whole world turned upside down in twelve hours.”
