Sunny Deol, known more for his power-packed performances than his dance moves, is set to surprise his fans in ‘Gadar 2‘. The actor revisits one of his most celebrated dance numbers ‘Main Nikla Gaddi Leke’, a highlight of Anil Sharma’s 2001 blockbuster ‘Gadar’. The much-awaited sequel, directed by Anil Sharma, brings back Deol in the iconic song, marking a nostalgic moment for fans.
In the recreated version of Main Nikla Gaddi Leke Sunny Deol shares the dance floor with Utkarsh Sharma, who returns as his grown-up son. The teaser provides a delightful glimpse of father and son shaking a leg while riding a motorbike, to the catchy tune. Their chemistry, accompanied by Sakina (Ameesha Patel) admiringly watching from a distance, sets a charming and light-hearted atmosphere for the song.
Anand Bakshi, the legendary late lyricist, had originally penned ‘Main Nikla Gaddi Leke’. Composed by Uttam Singh, the song has been reimagined and rearranged by Mithoon for ‘Gadar 2’. Adding to the unique mix, Udit Narayan and Aditya Narayan lend their voices to the track, alongside Mithoon. The full song is scheduled to be released on August 3rd, sparking anticipation among the audience.
Gadar 2’ also revives another classic from the original film. The popular romantic song ‘Udd Jaa Kale Kaava’ has been recreated with the original singers, Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik. While the original lyrics by Anand Bakshi remain untouched, the music has been reimagined by Mithoon. Though the new version features a few embellishments, it retains the essence and melody of the original, promising to be a treat for fans of the franchise.
