Pakistan dreaded bowler will create havoc in this T20 league, signed for 3 years

Pakistan’s young fast bowler Shaheen Afridi will now be seen spreading his fire in this T20 league. The left-arm pacer is currently one of the most dangerous fast bowlers in the world. United Arab Emirates (UAE) ILT20 franchise Desert Vipers have tied up Shaheen Afridi for 3 years. The second edition of this T20 league will be played in January next year. Afridi will be the first Pakistani player to play in this league.

The next season of IL T20 will start from January 13. Shaheen Afridi may join the team after his return from Australia. Vipers tried to sign some players from Pakistan last year but their efforts failed. Azam Khan, who would have been the first Pakistani player in the league, was signed by Vipers last year, but the Pakistan Cricket Board did not provide him a no-objection letter for the move.

‘I am excited to play in this T20 league’

Afridi declared in a statement, “I am thrilled to join Desert Vipers. I’m aware that there are a lot of Pakistani sports fans in the United Arab Emirates, and I hope they will support our team during the forthcoming IL T20. Zaka Ashraf, the current chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board, has allowed the players to play in various T20 leagues.

Shaheen Afridi will face Afghanistan before the Asia Cup

Shaheen Afridi is currently busy preparing for the Asia Cup. However, before the Asia Cup, Pakistan has to play a 3-match ODI series against Afghanistan. The series will be held in Sri Lanka. Pakistan team will face Afghanistan from August 22. The Asia Cup will be played in Pakistan from August 30. However, 9 of his matches will be played in Sri Lanka. 4 matches of Asia Cup will be played in Pakistan. Pakistan team is the host of the Asia Cup.
