Announcement of Squad, Team List, Captain for Asia Cup 2023

Rohit Sharma with Ajit Agarkar announced Indian Squad for Asia Cup 2023 on 21 August. India is a part of Group A with Pakistan and Nepal.

We will see the IND VS PAK action on September 2 onwards.

Indian team is looking awesome for Asia Cup but will some other great cricketers like Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Shikhar Dhawan. But for now take a glance on Indian Squad for Asia Cup.

Openers: Rohit Sharma & Shubman Gill

Shubman Gill & Rohit Sharma might be openers for the team in Asia Cup 2023 squad. Rohit Sharma will lead team in this tournament. As an Opener both of these guys have done a tremendous job in ODIs past few years. Shubman Gill is the highest run scorer for the Indian team this year.

Middle-Order: Virat Kohli & Suryakumar Yadav

Since Shreyas Iyer is available for Asia Cup 2023 . There are some doubt about the 4th position player, but for now we can go with Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav because Shreyas Iyer haven’t played in recent time for Indian team.

Wicket Keepers: KL Rahul, Ishan Kishan & Sanju Samson

There are high chance that we can see Sanju Samson and Ishan Kishan as Wicket Keeper, for Indian team for Asia Cup 2023.

Since Rishabh Pant cannot make to tournament and KL Rahul is also not uncertain to play, So obviously Sanju and Kishan are best choices.

All Rounders: Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja & Axar Patel

There were no doubt about Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja & Axar Patel as All Rounder for Indian Squad, but some fan still see Ravichandran Ashwin as a Spin-All Rounder for Indian Squad as he is a mastermind and in the lack of MS Dhoni, we can’t see someone who think at that level of game rather than R Ashwin.

Pacers: Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami, Prasidh Krishna, Mohemmad Siraj & Shardul Thakur

BOOM BOOM Bumrah is back with his killing yorkers as we have seen his bowling in T20 series against Ireland. Mohammed Shami’s and Mohemmad Siraj’s bowling back, we are pretty strong to gave hard time to any batting squad.

Spinners: Kuldeep Yadav

YUP!! Kuldeep Yadav is only spinner for Asia Cup 2023, but we also have Axar Patel and Rohit Sharma also said that

 "Hopefully Sharma and Kohli can roll some arm over in the World Cup" 

beside it is said as a satirical way, but hopefully we are good to go with Kuldeep Yadav as a Spinner.
