Why Did R Praggnanandhaa Fail Against Magnus Carlsen? Argument Based on ‘Fatigue’ by Viswanathan Anand

Viswanathan Anand, a legendary chess player, feels R Praggnanandhaa was ‘fatigued’ during the Chess World Cup final versus Marnus Carlsen, which may have contributed to his defeat. Carlsen won the first game of the Rapid Chess tie-breaker in the top battle. The second game finished in a tie, but Praggnanandhaa’s incredible run in the competition came to an end. He finished second but qualified for the FIDE Candidates event because to his outstanding results.

Praggnanandhaa Getting Praised By Everyone!

“Praggnanandhaa delivered an outstanding performance. He battled admirably, and even reaching the tie-break was an accomplishment. And today, towards the conclusion of the competition, exhaustion set in. He has lately played a number of important games, including those preceding the World Cup in Hungary and the Global Chess League. It also demonstrates that this is not a one-time occurrence, and I believe we are seeing the birth of a new star.

He has a bright future ahead of him, and he now has a goal to work toward: qualifying for the World Championship final at The Candidates,” Anand told NDTV.
Praggnanandhaa garnered a lot of positive feedback on social media.

“We are extremely proud of Praggnanandhaa for his outstanding performance at the FIDE World Cup!” He demonstrated his remarkable abilities and fought off the dangerous Magnus Carlsen in the finals. This is no easy task. “All the best to him in his upcoming tournaments,” PM Modi tweeted on his X (Formerly Twitter) page.

Applauded by President

Droupadi Murmu, President of India, also praised the Indian prodigy for gaining the “heart of every Indian” and finishing second in FIDE’s World Cup Final.

“Eighteen-year-old Grandmaster Rameshbabu Praggnanandhaa has won the heart of every Indian by reaching the final and becoming the runner-up in FIDE’s World Cup Final,” she said in a special tweet recognizing Praggnanandhaa’s efforts in the final showdown. He demonstrated the utmost degree of excellence while facing one of the game’s all-time greats. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to him for this outstanding performance. He has made the country proud.
