MPTET: Demand to fill 848 posts of EWS category intensifies, Minister Rajendra Shukla wrote letter to CM Shivraj

MPTET: Minister Rajendra Shukla has also asked the Chief Minister in a letter to appoint EWS category candidates to the remaining 848 posts in the first counselling. Along with this, it is requested to take appropriate action regarding the appointment of teachers.

Demand to fill 848 posts of EWS category intensifies – MPTET

For the last five years, the appointment of selected candidates in the Higher Teacher Selection Examination 2018 has been stalled. Vindhya leaders seem to be very active in appointing preferred candidates for more than 800 posts in the EWS category. After MP Janardhan Mishra, now Minister Rajendra Shukla has written a letter to Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

What did Rajendra Shukla say in the letter?

In the letter, the minister has also asked the chief minister to appoint EWS category candidates to the remaining 848 posts in the first counselling. Along with this, it is requested to take appropriate action regarding the appointment of teachers.

Appointments are awaited for long-standing vacancies

In fact, during a meeting held at the Chief Minister’s residence on July 13, the Chief Minister assured the EWS union delegation of a concrete solution to fill up 848 vacancies in the EWS category of higher secondary teachers. As the department has not confirmed the departmental action on the above posts till date, EWS Association President Dheeraj Tiwari and Ambikesh Pandey have met Public Relations Minister Rajendra Shukla and requested to start the recruitment process on the vacated posts soon. It may be mentioned that since long the EWS category has been requesting for employment in the disappearing posts.

EWS Union President said

Regarding this, the EWS Union President said, “The posts for which Gazette No. 398 was issued. The recruitment to those posts has been stopped by presenting false arguments by the officials of the department. If it had to be done then the gazette should not have been published. This was not to be messed with.”
