BMW IX2 unveiled, new electric SUV will give 449 Km range
BMW has introduced its new all-electric SUV. Its name is BMW iX2. It will be available in only one variant. Its sales will start by March 2024. Along with this, the second generation BMW X2 has also bee unveiled. The look and design of the BMW iX2 is largely identical to the standard X2. A bumper has been provided at the rear. It does not come with a standard radiator grill with vertical slats.

BMW iX2 Design and features
The SUV’s cabin is also similar to the X2. The electric SUV comes with a BMW curved display with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system. All this is contained in one glass panel.
Powertrain
Now talking about the powertrain, the new BMW i X2 gets the xDrive30 trim. Along with this, a 64.8kWh battery pack is offer with dual electric motors. The car is capable of generating 308bhp of peak power and 494 Nm of maximum torque. The brand claims that this car can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 5.6 seconds. It has a top speed of 180 kmph and a range of 449 km.
This will rival electric cars
No official announcement has bee made regarding the launch of the iX2 in India. The iX, i7 and i4 models are already present in the Indian market. The SUV will compete with Mercedes Benz EQA, Audi Q4 Sport Back e-tron and Volvo C40 Recharge.
