On Tuesday, October 31, an Israeli aircraft targeted the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza, resulting in over 50 deaths and thousands of injuries. After the strikes on October 7, the number of Palestinian deaths has increased to 8,575 with this new incident.
The Palestinian Health Ministry released a statement stating, “A large area of homes in Jabalia camp in the northern (Gaza) Strip were targeted in a heinous Israeli massacre that resulted in more than 50 martyrs, around 150 wounded, and dozens under the rubble.” In a statement released on Tuesday, Ashraf Al-Qudra, a spokesman for the Health Ministry, stated that 130 of the deceased were medical professionals. The statement added that fifteen hospitals had demolished.
The statement also stated that at least 32 health care facilities had damaged and were no longer operational. In a similar situation, the Al-Shifa hospital in Gaza said that a serious health emergency will result from the generators at the hospital shutting down owing to a fuel shortage. 50,000 displaced persons housed at Shifa Hospital, according to Mehdit Abbas, a spokesman for the hospital, who talked with IANS. He went on to say that Israel’s accusations that the hospital served as a haven for Hamas fighters were completely false and without merit.
Abbas said, “The Israeli occupation forces were unable to release even a single photo showing combatants concealed within the hospital. To bolster the picture they had imagined and to construct a nonexistent argument, they ventured into the realm of artificial intelligence and fantasy. A representative for the Al-Shifa hospital also extended an invitation to reporters from across the globe and the International Red Cross to come check out the facility.
