Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Rishi Sunak has received his first letter of no confidence since dismissing Interior Minister Suella Braverman. The Member for Rishi Sunak’s party, Andrea Jenkyns, sent a sharp letter to Sir Graham Brady, the head of the 1922 Committee, accusing him of “getting rid of our democratically elected leader Boris Johnson” and stating that “enough is enough”.
“As if having a party leader that the members of the party rejected wasn’t awful enough, the polls show that the public also rejects him, and I wholeheartedly concur.” Rishi Sunak should step down now,” she stated on X (previously Twitter).
The removal of Boris Johnson was “unforgivable enough,” but she added that she had sent a letter of no confidence to Rishi Sunak “to stand up and fight for true Conservatism” and that “to purge the centre-right from his cabinet and then sack Suella who was the only person in the cabinet with the balls to speak the truth of the appalling state of our streets and a two-tier policing system that leaves Jewish community in fear for their lives and safety.”
