The BYD Seal electric sedan will soon be seen running on Indian roads. Its dashboard is similar to that of the Lexus LS sedan and looks similar to the Porsche Tacan.
BYD Seal electric sedan launched
Chinese car maker BYD has launched its new electric sedan. The BYD Seal electric sedan is currently offere in Thailand. But soon it is going to knock in India too. However, the launch date has not been announce yet. The starting price of the car is 1.32 million baht (about 30 lakh rupees). Its top AWD variant is price at 1.599 million baht (roughly Rs. 36 lakh). Its price is likely to be higher in India.

BYD Seal electric sedan Design
It has many special features and many updates in its performance. It measures 4800mm in length, 1875mm in width, 1460mm in height and 2920mm in wheelbase length. Its look might remind you of Porsche Tycan. It is given a sloping coupe roofline. Talking about the interior, its dashboard is similar to the Lexus LS sedan. A rotating instrument screen is also available.
Powertrain
The base Dynamic RWD variant gets a single 204 bhp electric motor with a 61.4 kWh battery. It offers a range of 510 km on a single charge. The AWD variant is the most powerful. Its dual motor generates 530 bhp of power and 670 Nm of torque. It is capable of accelerating from 0-100 km/h in 3.8 seconds. BYD Seal electric sedan equippe with an 82.5 kWh battery. It gives a range of 580 km.
Soon to be launche in India, it will compete with BMW
However, the Seal EV sedan has not bee launched in the Indian market. But the company has already made its page live on the Indian website. Which shows the launch of the car. This will be the third car to bee sold in India. Before this was E6 and Atto 3. The new car can compete with Kia EV6 GT AWD and BMW i4.
