Chhattisgarh News: Ban on bursting of firecrackers imposed in the state, 2 hours relaxation will be given on festivals, order issued

Chhattisgarh News Raipur. To reduce air pollution in the state, the state government has issued orders for the sale of only green firecrackers. In the order issued, it has been said that a period of two hours has been fixed for the bursting of firecrackers on the occasion of Diwali, Chhath, Guru Parv, New Year/Christmas.

As mentioned in Chhattisgarh the Supreme Court ordered this order, the district administration officials have been directed to strictly follow the instructions regarding the use of firecrackers as per the guidelines of the Supreme Court and the National Green Tribunal.

The fixed curves are determined as follows

Chhattisgarh From 8 pm to 10 pm for Diwali, from 6 am to 8 am for Chhath Puja. The time for Guru Parva has been fixed from 8 pm to 10 pm. The time for Christmas/New Year has been fixed from 11:55 p.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The ban will remain in place from December 1 to January 31. In view of the pollution situation in the winter season, in the urban areas of Chhattisgarh Raipur, Bilaspur, Bhilai-Durg, Raigarh, and Korba, the State Government, using the powers given under sub-section 5 of Section 19 of the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act 1981, Bursting of firecrackers has been banned in the period from December 1 to January 31.

Instructions were issued to cancel a license

From 8 pm to 10 pm for Diwali, from 6 am to 8 am for Chhath Puja. The time for Guru Parva has been fixed from 8 pm to 10 pm. The time for Christmas/New Year has been fixed from 11:55 p.m. to 12:30 p.m.
