Drizzle in these districts today, clouds will prevail, know what the forecast of the Meteorological Department says

Bhopal, Jabalpur and Gwalior will have cloudy weather. Weather will be clear in Indore. Some areas may experience drizzle.Ujjain may experience light drizzle, no chance of heavy rain.

This type of weather will remain in Madhya Pradesh for 5 days, but after August 15, the rainy season will start again as monsoon becomes active. According to the MP Meteorological Department, heavy rainfall is not forecast anywhere in the next 24 hours due to non-activation of Monsoon system.

There may be drizzle at some places. Bhopal, Jabalpur and Gwalior will have cloudy weather. Weather will be clear in Indore. Some areas may experience drizzle.Ujjain may experience light drizzle, no chance of heavy rain. However, around August 14 to 15, a new weather system will develop over the Bay of Bengal, which is expected to start raining again.

After August 15 rains are likely, the new system will be activated

According to the MP Meteorological Department, the trough line of Monsoon has reached the Himalayan foothills at present. Although cyclonic circulation is present over North Gujarat and Bengal, it does not affect the Gwalior-Chambal division. Indore will see a similar reduction in rainfall activity for the next three to four days, though light drizzle is likely. There is no chance of rain till August 15 in Gwalior. A new low pressure area is likely to form over the Bay of Bengal on August 14, due to which the rainy season may begin after August 15.

According to the MP Meteorological Department, there is currently no weather system active to affect the weather in Madhya Pradesh. The same direction of wind continues towards the west. Because of this, the moisture coming with the wind has created clouds. In case of rise in temperature, light rain may also occur at some places at local level. Gradually the clouds have started to part, in such a situation the day temperature will also start to rise.

All-time rainfall record

  • East Madhya Pradesh received 9% more rainfall and western part 4% more.
  • The state should have received 21.80 inches of rain so far, while 22.91 inches have already been received.
  • Narsinghpur recorded the highest rainfall of 35 inches in the state.
  • More than 32 inches of rain in Sewni-Mandla
  • More than 28 inches in Indore, Jabalpur, Anuppur, Chhindwara, Dindori, Sagar, Shahdol, Narmadapuram and Raisen.
  • Balaghat, Katni, Niwari, Panna, Umaria, Betul, Bhind, Dewas, Harda, Ratlam, Sihore and Vidisha have received over 24 inches of rainfall.
  • Light rainfall in Satna, Ashoknagar, Barwani, Gwalior, Khandwa, Khargone, Mandsaur and Morena.
