The city of Mata Ahilya, number one in cleanliness, Indore is now progressing rapidly in every field and the visitors along with the residents of the city are getting many gifts. A new fossil museum is going to be launched in the tourism sector on Tiger Day in this series. This place will be for nature lovers and history buffs, where millions of years old dinosaur eggs can be seen.

With the opening of the Fossils Museum, tourists will get a chance to learn about the creatures found in the Narmada Valley millions of years ago. The work of shifting the remains to the museum has also been completed. The ticket rate of this museum has also been fixed, the fare of which has been fixed at Rs 10, so that maintenance costs can be easily recovered.

It will cost only 30 rupees

The introduction of Deer Safari in Ralamandal has received a good response. Spread over 13 acres, the museum has been built near the animal zone. Keeping in mind the increasing number of tourists visiting here. Along with deer safaris, people can do more sightseeing here. The ticket price has been kept at Rs 10, while entry into the sanctuary will be charged separately at Rs 20. In this way, people can visit this museum for 30 rupees.

A detailed report was also prepared

Visitors here will not only enjoy the millions-year-old dinosaur eggs in the museum, but other fossils will also fascinate them. Along with this, a detailed report of each fossil has also been prepared, so that people can get more information. The history of the rise and existence of the sea in Dhar is also shown here. The Central Government started the Fossil Museum in Bandarla Mandal for the first time in 2011. However, it was discontinued in March 2020 by the central government, but is now being relaunched in a new form.

Fossils were handed over by expert Verma

In 2011, expert Vishal Verma collected fossils of sea creatures and giant trees, including dinosaur eggs, from Dhar and surrounding areas and donated them to the forest department. After this, in just 15 days, under the guidance of the then CCF PC Dubey, a fossil center was established in the sanctuary.

Renovation work completed

Narendra Pandawa, DFO, Forest Department, Indore Range, said that the renovation of the fossil museum is almost complete. The remaining minor works will also be completed soon. Along with this, Ranger Yogesh Yadav said that the visiting tourists will now be able to see the fossils of sea creatures, including millions of years old dinosaur eggs and giant trees.
