Bhopal GMC: Dr. Aruna Kumar has been removed from the post of HOD in the case of third year student Saraswati’s suicide in the gynecology department of Gandhi Medical College in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. A senior doctor attached to the Dean’s office of Gandhi Medical College has confirmed this. Due to which the junior doctors started a strike. Today is the fourth day. Meanwhile, many big revelations are being made regarding HOD. Because of this, there was an atmosphere of fear among the students.
No action has been taken even after the complaint
Please inform that three junior doctors have left the degree in the last 6 months while one junior doctor has been absent for the last 2 months. Doctors say that even after going to college, Dr. Aruna used to mark absences in the register. His fear was so great that no one dared to go against him. However, some doctors complained against him to the Dean, Governor, DME and Principal Secretary Medical Education Department but no action was taken.

According to media reports, Dr. To Aruna’s annoyance, the junior doctors were made to do 36-hour duty each. Due to which his health deteriorated. Also, talking to other consultants was punishable by not joining the class. Many doctors gave up their degrees because of such harsh torture.
Know the whole matter
In fact, Bala Saraswati, a junior doctor at Gandhi Medical College, committed suicide by taking an overdose injection to induce unconsciousness on Sunday night. From whom a suicide note was found, in which three senior women doctors of the department were held responsible for the death. After which the junior doctors of the college started a strike and demanded appropriate action. At the same time, more than 40 surgeries have been suspended due to the strike. Due to which the patients are facing great hardship.
