MP Holiday News: November 17 declared public holiday in Madhya Pradesh, General Administration Department issued a notification

MP Holiday News Voting for the assembly elections is to be held in Madhya Pradesh on 17th November. For this, the General Administration Department of the State Government has issued a notification of public holidays. Under the order, November 17 has been declared a general holiday for voting. That means all schools, colleges, banks, and offices in the state will remain closed on this day.

The State Government hereby declares that under the above clarification, November 17, 2023 (Friday) will be a public holiday for voting in connection with the Assembly General Elections 2023 in the entire Madhya Pradesh. Facility for the elderly to vote from home: In Madhya Pradesh, the Election Commission is continuously working on the preparations for the elections. Along with this, sensitive booths and model election booths are also being built.

The parties have also announced their candidates. Nomination forms will be filled till 30th October while scrutiny of nomination papers will take place on 31st October. Names can be withdrawn till November 2.
