Emerging Asia Cup: The final match of the Emerging Asia Cup tournament was held in Colombo on Sunday 23rd July. There was a match between Pakistan B and India A. In a thrilling game, Pakistan B defeated the Indian team by 128 runs, thus winning the tournament title for the second time.

Pakistan B gave India A a target of 353 runs during the match. But the team was all out for 224 runs after losing 10 wickets in 40 overs. While Pakistan A scored 352 runs at the loss of 8 wickets in 50 overs. The batting of the Indian team that entered the field was very bad. Abhishek Sharma scored the highest 61 runs. On the other hand, Riag Parag put pressure on Pakistan B with their brilliant bowling and lost 2 wickets for 24 runs in 4 overs. At the same time, Rajvardhan Hangrekar took 2 wickets and Manav Suthar and Nishant 1 each.

During the tournament, Taib Tahir scored 108 runs, opener Saim Ayub scored 59 runs and Sahibzada Farhan scored 65 runs and contributed significantly to Pakistan’s victory. In the 2019 edition, Pakistan emerged as the winners by defeating Bangladesh.

India A Playing XI consists of Abhishek Sharma, Bisai Sudarshan, Yash Dhool, Nishant Sindhu, Nikin Jose, Ryan Parag, Manav Suthar, Dhruv Jurrell, Harshit Rana, Rajvardhan Hungergekar and Yuvraj Singh Dodia.
