In an exclusive chat with IndiaToday., we asked Shabana Ji about the love track shown in ‘Rocky Aur Raniâ€æ’. She said that she believes Karan took a risk to show a ‘senior’ love track in the film. “I feel it is about time that something like this happened. Shabana Azmi said that Karan took a risk with her and Dharmendra’s track. “Why does it need to be separated like that, that a strong woman cannot be romantic? I am inundated with messages and phone calls. I really think it is to Karan’s credit that he took what was considered a risk because earlier, such subjects were considered anathema in the mainstream,” she stressed.
Azmi added, “I think he took this risk from the inner conviction he had about this track and now he is telling me that people are saying you could have a whole film about the seniors because it is being appreciated.
