Satpura Tiger clan Reserve Field Director L Krishnamurthy says that to take care of the health of the tigers, their favorite food is being arranged here. About 2,000 chitals have been released in the area, considering tigers’ favorite food. It symbolizes the sensitive relationship between humanity and animals. Availability of preferred food and water is also being taken into consideration to take care of the tiger’s health.
There is sufficient water availability in STR, so that tigers always have access to the required source. Along with this, 10,000 hectares of plains in STR have been made suitable for tiger movement, displacing 50 forest villages.
