Zareen Khan made her entrance into the movie industry by playing a princess in Salman Khan’s 2010 film, Veer. In the following year, she performed the well-received item number ‘Character Dheela’ alongside Salman in Anees Bazmee’s comedy, Ready. Since then, Zareen has acted in various films, including Akshay Kumar and John Abraham’s Housefull 2, and erotic thrillers such as Hate Story 3 and Aksar 2.
Recently, Zareen has expressed her feelings about working with Salman Khan and how her career has been influenced by comparisons to Katrina Kaif. Zareen Khan recently hosted a ‘Ask Me Anything’ session on Reddit, during which she opened up about her personal life and professional journey. She wrote, “Hi I am Zareen Khan.
I’ve starred in movies like Veer, Ready and Houseful 2. Ask me anything about films, characters, acting, life, my journey, and social topics. Ask away!!” Users quickly filled her comment section with queries. When questioned about her experience collaborating with Salman Khan, Zareen admitted it was ‘daunting’. She further noted that her debut role as Princess Yashodhara in Veer was the most challenging of her career so far.
At the start of her career, Zareen was frequently compared to actress Katrina Kaif. When asked about the effect this comparison had on her, she responded, “Hi, So when I entered this industry, I was literally like a lost child since I don’t come from a filmy background so it made me feel really happy being compared to Katrina as I was her fan too and found her really pretty. But it backfired on my career as the people of this industry didn’t give me a chance to prove my individuality.”
