Indore Development Authority build 11 flyovers
Flyover in Indore: Indore, Naiduniya representative. In Sirmaur, Indore, an exercise is underway to construct a new flyover in view of the growing population and traffic pressure. In the coming years, there are plans to construct 24 flyovers and railway overbridges (ROB) at major intersections of the city including bypasses, ring roads. It includes 20 flyovers and four ROBs. Work has started at seven places. Soon operations will be starte in other places also. Five flyovers and 11 ROBs have already bee constructed in the city.
Efforts are bee made to make Indore traffic smooth and signal free. In the coming years, ROBs will bee constructed at all railway level crossings in the city so that other vehicles do not have to stop there due to the movement of trains. The construction of flyovers has started at four main intersections of the city.
Work on two flyovers is also underway on the bypass. Work on other intersections will also start soon. Tenders have also bee held for a double-decker flyover to be constructed at Lavkush intersection at a cost of Rs 146 crore. Soon his work will also start.

Survey of two elevated corridors
The Indore Development Authority has planned to build an elevated corridor to ease traffic in the city. Survey is being done after deciding the agency. An elevate corridor will bee constructed from Agriculture College to Bypass. It will pass over the flyover on the ring road. Apart from this, a survey is also being conducte for the elevate corridor from Bapat Square to Radisson Square.
Indore Development Authority and Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation to construct 15 flyovers
The Indore Development Authority and Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation will build 15 flyovers in the city. Indore Development Authority has started construction of flyovers at the intersections of Bhanwarkuan, Lavakush, Footi Kothi and Khajra. Flyovers near Mahunaka, Gandhinagar, MR-12 and TPS four, five and nine scheme bypasses will be constructe in the near future. At the same time, the Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation has also conducted a survey to construct flyovers at four intersections, IT Park Square, Sathyasai Square, Dewas Naka and Musakhedi Square.
ROB will be constructe at railway level crossing
Four ROBs will be constructe at Mangalia, Banganga Railway Level Crossing, Goods Godown Level Crossing, Railway Level Crossing at Rajendra Nagar Reti Mandi in the city. National Highways Authority of India to construct flyover on bypass at Rau Chauraha, Arjun Baroda, Best Price, MR-10. In which construction has started in RA and MR-10.
There are more than 23 lakh vehicles in the city
The city currently has more than 23 lakh vehicles. Due to this, jam situation has occurred on the intersections. The flyover and ROB are being constructe keeping in mind the vision of future Indore. With their construction, traffic will be ease.
Indore is developing at a fast pace in every field. So the authority is constantly working to ease the traffic in the city. Necessary flyovers are being constructe for smooth traffic in future, so that the traffic can be smooth.
