Asian Games: Best performance so far in Asian Games, MP players brought 9 medals to the country

Best performance so far in Asian Games

In the 19th Asian Games being played in Hangzhou, China, the players of Madhya Pradesh have continued to perform brilliantly. Shooters from Madhya Pradesh have targeted two medals in shooting on Wednesday. Along with this, players from Madhya Pradesh have won nine medals including three gold, three silver and three bronze. This is Madhya Pradesh’s best ever performance in the Asian Games. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Sports Minister Yashodhara Raje Scindia have congratulated the Madhya Pradesh players for their performance.

The players of MP Academy did their best in shooting Maharashtra’s Rudraksh Patil and Rajasthan’s Divyanesh won the gold medal for the country in the 10m rifle team event. Aishwarya also performed strongly in the individual competition of the same event and won a bronze medal to take her medal tally to two. In the 10m rifle women’s team event, Madhya Pradesh Shooting Academy’s Ashi Chowksi along with Haryana’s Ramneeta Jindal and West Bengal’s Mehuli won the silver medal. Madhya Pradesh’s Ashi Choksey won the bronze medal in the 50m three position individual event on Wednesday morning. A silver medal in shooting itself: In the 50m three position men’s category, the pair of SK Sharma and M Kaushik won the silver medal.

MP won gold for the first time in horse riding

Neha Thakur of Madhya Pradesh Water Sports Academy shocked everyone by winning silver medal in sailing. Neha achieved this success in women’s ILC-4 event. While in judo, Tulika Mann won the bronze medal in the 78 kg weight category, in horse riding, Madhya Pradesh’s Sudipti Hajela won the gold medal for India in the team dressage event. This is a matter of pride not only for Madhya Pradesh but also for India. For the first time after 41 years, India has managed to win a gold medal in this game. Won five medals at the Jakarta Asian Games

At the Jakarta Asian Games 2018, MP players created a stir by winning five medals, in which they won a total of five medals, including two silver and three bronze. All these were won by Madhya Pradesh State Academy players. In individual events, Muskan Kirar won the silver medal in archery and Harshita Tomar won the bronze medal in sailing. Indian men’s and women’s hockey teams won bronze medals in the team event. Vivek Sagar was included in the Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy men’s team, Monica Malik and Reena Khokhar in the women’s team.
