According to WABetaInfo, the reply bar feature has bee spotted among users of WhatsApp beta update Android version 2.23.20.20. Under this, users will be able to easily reply to media items without leaving the chat. You will be able to view images, videos and GIFs within the media screen of the chat information section. This way users don’t have to leave the current chat box to reply to media sent by other contacts.
