The North Korean leader is said to be inspired by the 1977 James Bond film ‘The Spy Who Loved Me’. The film depicted the villain Karl Stromberg assassinating his opponents by putting them into a shark-infested aquarium. North Korean Kim Jong-un is said to have executed a general by putting him into a “piranha-filled fish tank.” According to the Daily Star, the general, whose identity has not been released, was suspected of plotting a coup but became the latest victim of the newly created execution procedure.

The massive fish tank was reportedly created inside Kim’s Ryongsong Residence. The victim’s limbs and body were allegedly slashed open with knives before he was put into the tank.

Last year “Die Another Day” rocked both North and South Korea with controversy. Many cinemas banned the film, despite a full house at the film premiere in Seoul.

According to reports, it was unclear if the general was killed by the fish, died of his wounds, or drowned. The film depicted the villain Karl Stromberg assassinating his opponents by putting them into a shark-infested aquarium.

Kim’s aquarium is thought to include several hundred piranhas ‘imported from Brazil.’ The flesh-eating fish have razor-sharp teeth that can rip flesh from a body in minutes.
