Gaza on Tuesday said that an Israeli air strike on a hospital in the Palestinian enclave has killed around 500 people. The death toll was by far the highest of any single incident in Gaza during the current violence, triggering protests in the occupied West Bank, Istanbul, and Amman. However, Israel said that a Palestinian barrage had caused the blast.

Russia’s foreign ministry said on Wednesday that a strike on a hospital in Gaza that killed hundreds of Palestinians was a shockingly dehumanizing crime and said that Israeli should provide satellite imagery if it was not involved. “We qualify such a felonious deed as a crime – as an act of dehumanization,” Russian foreign ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said, reported Reuters citing Radio Sputnik.
Israel-Hamas war: The Israeli military said on Wednesday that humanitarian aid would be made available to Palestinians who flee Gaza City southward, but did not immediately provide details on whether or how such aid would be brought into the enclave.
