New BMW SUV is coming
BMW is going to launch the M Sport version of the X4 SUV in India. Which has bee announced by the German brand by releasing a teaser on social media “X”. The new SUV is said to be named BMW X4 M40i. It has entered the international market long ago. Now it is the turn of the Indian market. If you are also intereste in BMW cars, then note down the date of 26th October. Design and features
The front fascia of this SUV features the signature BMW illuminated kidney grille, which is quite large in size. The headlights come with a single piece frame rather than a twin grille setup. What sets it apart from the standard model are exclusive M elements and 20-inch lightweight M alloy wheels. The car has sporty looking seats. The cabin also features a 10.25-inch central touchscreen infotainment system and a 3-zone climate control system.
Powertrain
Now let’s talk about the powertrain. It has the same engine as the standard model X4 SUV. The car is powered by a 3.0 liter M Twin Power Turbo inline 6-cylinder engine. Along with this, a 48V mild hybrid powertrain is available, capable of generating 11bhp of power and 502Nm of torque at full output (382bhp). Along with this, the 8-speed automatic transmission supports sport and manual shift modes. Its top speed is 210 km per hour. It can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 5 seconds.
Potential cost
The BMW X4 SUV is price at Rs 71.90 lakh (ex-showroom). It is being speculate that the M40i model could bee price up to Rs 90 lakh.
