Election process is going on in Madhya Pradesh, officials and employees of various government departments are engage in election duty, they play an important role in the election process, but many times they cannot exercise their right to vote, this Election Commission has facilitate voting through postal ballot on time. It has bee given to the government employees of the department.

MP election news- According to the information released by the Election Commission, if the government employees of 4 departments are on duty on the polling day, they will get the facility to vote through postal ballot. Chief Electoral Officer Anupam Rajan said that on November 17, the polling date of Madhya Pradesh Assembly Elections-2023, due to being busy with essential services, government employees of 4 departments will be able to vote through postal ballot. Election Commission of India has also issued a notification in this regard. As per the notification issued, they will not be present at their designated polling station due to being on duty on the polling day. Such Government servants shall be eligible to vote by postal ballot. The essential services include Public Health and Family Welfare Department, Medical Education Department, Home Department (Fire Services) and Energy Department.
