MP Breaking news : On Tuesday, a month-long series of programs concluded at Bhopal’s Jai Prakash Hospital, in which more than 150 people participated.

Seminar organized on mental health of mothers

The ongoing programs under the World Mental Health Month (October) in Bhopal concluded today with various programs organized at Jai Prakash Hospital. These programs were organize under the National Mental Health Program administere by the National Health Mission, Madhya Pradesh. Let us tell you that the whole world celebrates 10 October every year. As Mental Health Day for which a theme is decide every year. This year’s theme is “Mental Health – A Universal Human Right”.

Various programs were organize continuously for a month

Under the direction of Chief Medical and Health Officer, Bhopal and under the supervision of Civil Surgeon Jaiprakash Hospital, Bhopal, mental health screening, treatment and awareness camps were organize throughout the month of October in Civil Hospitals, Community Health Centers and District Hospitals. Today, the program was organize under the guidance of Dr. RK Srivastava, Superintendent of Jai Prakash Hospital.

MP Breaking news toady – In the programme, a seminar on mental health of mothers was organize in the maternity unit of the hospital which highlight the aspects of pre-natal and post-natal mental health. Dr. Jesani, Dr. Shraddha Aggarwal, Dr. Renu Chugh, Dr. R.K. Bairagi, Dr. Nupur and Rahul Sharma addressed the program. After this, in a mental health camp organize at the hospital, the victims were screen for mental and drug-related problems, stress. Suicide and given treatment and psychological counselling. Bairagi (Psychiatrist), Dr. Nupur and Dr. Rashmi (National Tele-Mental Health Programme), Rahul Sharma (Medical Psychologist). Upendra Singh Kansana (Psychiatrist) Nurse of National Mental Health Programme), Mekhla Srivastava, Vandana Singh, Aradhana Gupta.
