Pakistan is going on in the month of Ramadan. Eid is celebrated during Ramadan. Prime Minister Modi gave Muslim brothers and sisters a special gift on this Eid. PM Modi has sent ‘Saugat-e-Modi’ to 32 lakh Muslims. This kit contains some essential ration and clothes for Eid. Now, regarding this, Samajwadi Party MLA Abu Azmi has appealed to Prime Minister Modi not to do this but instead give respect to Muslims.
Abu Azmi said that the gifts given by the Modi government have no value until Muslims are given their constitutional rights. He said that I am laughing that Modi is giving gifts, but the rights of Muslims are being snatched away.
Abu Azmi said that the rights of Muslims are being violated in the country. Muslims are being killed by entering mosques, temples are seen under every mosque, Muslims are being killed in the name of cow.
Abu Azmi said that Muslims should get the same rights that are given in the Constitution made by Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. Speaking on the condition of Muslims in Uttar Pradesh, he said, “Even though Holi comes once a year and Jumma comes 52 times, it does not mean that Muslims should not go out of the house on Jumma.
Those who say make caps of tarpaulin, mosques have to be covered with tarpaulin, is this respect?” He concluded by saying that if anyone is most troubled and targeted, it is the Muslims. Instead of giving gifts to the government, Muslims should be ensured equal status and rights as per the Constitution.
