Meerut’s Saurabh Rajput murder case has shocked everyone. In this case, the way Saurabh’s wife Muskan Rastogi, conspired to kill her husband, the way she cut her husband’s body into 15 pieces with her lover Sahil Shukla, has angered people. Now, however, both are in jail.
Senior Jail Superintendent Viresh Raj Sharma said, “Muskan and her lover, Sahil Shukla, were brought to the jail around 6 pm on Wednesday. Muskan was kept in the women’s barrack (barrack number 12), while Sahil was kept in the men’s barrack (barrack number 18).”
He said, “Muskan did not talk to anyone. She did not even eat the food given to her.” Jail sources said that Muskan kept crying throughout the night. But the jail superintendent refused to comment on this. Sources further claimed that Muskan and Sahil had demanded to be kept in adjacent barracks.
However, Additional Superintendent of Police Ayush Vikram Singh dismissed this claim and said, “When Muskaan was telling the story of the incident to the family members, the girl must have been present there. The girl did not know anything about this beforehand.
Renu Devi also refuted claims of Muskan’s parents being unaware of the murder and accused them of trying to mislead the police. “The truth is that Muskan’s mother knew about the crime (before March 18). They went to the police station only to avoid legal action,” Renu Devi alleged on Wednesday.
