The 19-year-old girl who 23 people brutalized in a week is suffering from Hepatitis B. This has been revealed in the girl’s medical report. She was admitted to Sir Sundarlal Hospital of BHU for treatment. Her DNA has also been sent for testing. On Sunday, the police arrested another suspect, Mohammad Shahbaz, a resident of Lallapura, and sent him to jail. So far, 13 people have been arrested in the case. After getting information about the girl having hepatitis B, there is a possibility of the accused youths also getting infected, so they will also be medically examined.
When Prime Minister Narendra Modi came to Kashi last Friday, he took information about the incident and the action taken in this case from Police Commissioner Mohit Agarwal at the airport. He also gave instructions to take strict action against the culprits. After this, the police and administration were very active in this matter. According to the doctors, the girl’s liver is getting damaged due to the disease, and her blood count has also been found to be very low.
Under the medical procedure, three new samples of the girl have been taken, which include blood and other samples. Hepatitis B Through these, the process of matching the DNA of the accused has been started. Earlier, the police had collected blood, semen, and hair samples of all the 12 accused for testing.
