The Bharatiya Janata Party took out a torch procession in Bhopal on Wednesday in protest against the terrorist attack on Hindu tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. The torch procession was taken out under the leadership of BJP state president and MP Vishnudutt Sharma and state organization general secretary Hitanand and this cowardly attack was termed as an attack on the soul of India.
Senior party leaders and workers including BJP state president Vishnudutt Sharma and state organization general secretary Hitanand ji took part in the torch procession taken out by the Bharatiya Janata Party under the leadership of Bhopal district organization in protest against the Pahalgam terrorist attack. The procession started from Nanke Petrol Pump in New Market and went on foot to Roshanpura Square. Tribute was paid to the dead by observing two minutes of silence at the square.
During this, Sharma said that the attack on innocent Hindu tourists in Pahalgam is not just an incident, it is a direct attack on the soul of India. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the time has come to eradicate terrorism.
A large number of BJP leaders and workers including Minister Vishwas Sarang, MLA Rameshwar Sharma, Mayor Malti Rai, Bhagwandas Sabnani, Seema Singh, Rahul Kothari, Ravindra Yati were present in the torch procession. The people participating in the procession also expressed their anger against this cowardly attack and gave a strong message to the terrorists.
